When is Soap Not Soap?
You probably have this impostor soap in your house right now. That’s right you are harboring a fraud, a counterfeiter, a fake!
What am I talking about? Well, SOAP of course! That bar that you are washing with daily probably isn’t even real “soap” says Harold Hopkins in his FDA Consumer article “All That Lathers is NOT Soap“.
Mr Hopkins states, “…the product you regard as soap may not be soap at all, but a synthetic detergent “beauty” or “bath” bar. These and similar names have been used by copywriters to spare the consumer the awful knowledge that she is not bathing herself with real soap, but with a synthetic detergent…”
Yuck!
Is that what you want to bathe with? I’ll bet not. Keep your bath free of these impostors. Bathe with “real soap” from Two Little Blackbirds!
